- Betty J. Belongia, 84, formerly of Wausau, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Park View Nursing Home in Green Bay.
She was born May 9, 1926, to the late Hartwell and Ettabell (Poppe) Jorstad in Withee, Wis.
She is survived by three children, Carol Jean Wagner of Green Bay, Garlen "Butch" (Jean) Wagner of Green Bay, and Gary (Pam) Belongia of Ishpeming, Mich.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husbands, Gordon Belongia and Leonard Wagner; brothers and sisters, Floyd Hartwell Jr., Gerald Jorstad, Vernon Jorstad, Hartwell "Bud" Jorstad Jr., Mae Borchardt, Milson Hamm and Sylvia Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, with the Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
