Edgar Peep Takes Bride DE PERE At a candlelight service in the De Pere Congregational church at 7:30 Saturday evening, Mrs. Susan Mae Johnson, 648 Oak street, West De Pere, became the bride of Edgar Peep, Black Creek. The Rev. Edwin T. Phillips, pastor, presided at the double ring ceremony. The bride was attired in a lace blue gabardine, accented by silver slippers and rhinestone accessories. A corsage of pink roses and carnations completed the ensemble. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Leland Peep, Kimberly, son and daughter-in-law of the groom, Mrs. Dorothy Roper, Green Bay, niece of the groom, and Al Draeger, Oshkosh. Bridal aides appeared in identical pink silk dresses. During the service Mrs. Peter Vogels sang "Because" and "Through the Years" accompanied by Mrs. Charles Bidwell. Guests were ushered to their places by Robert Verhagen, grandson of the bride, and Calvin Haskins, a nephew. A reception followed In the church parlors. After Dec. 1, the couple will be at home in Black Creek, where Mr. Peep is employed at the nearby Center Valley Co-op. Mrs. Peep active in local women's organizations, was affiliated with the local Fox River Kebekah lodge, De Pere Royal Neighbors, Harrison Women's Relief corps, and the Nicolet Homemaker's club. Guests from Shawano, Shiocton, Oshkosh, Waukesha and Milwaukee were here for the wedding.
